Should Kids Be Able To Go To The Mall Without There Parents?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I allow my daughter to go to the mall without me. But she must go with some cousins and she must have her cell phone on at all times. And she is aware that I will be calling her when I want to check on her.

I believe it depends on the age. If your daughter was 10yrs old and with a friend of 11yrs old - then would it be okay? Why do parents think that cell phones can save their child if in the mall w/o the parent(s). I think this world is crazy as it is, and for children to be left at the mall at an early age just promotes trouble.
