We have always gone back to the dictionary whenever we have needed to check the meanings of words we have not heard before, or of words we have been using but do not know the meaning of. The dictionary has been our refuge ever since we can remember when it came to word meanings and pronunciations.

Once the Internet came into our lives, touching everything around us, people soon came to realize that this was the way to the future. Everyone started moving to the Internet as the alternative platform. The dictionaries too found a home on the Internet. So how would you pull up the dictionary on the Internet?

There are quite a few ways of doing this. The best way is to put out a search on the Internet for the different sites that offer online dictionaries. All the dictionaries - Oxford, Webster, Cambridge, etc. have their own websites. You can type the names of these dictionaries in a search engine, and locate their website address.
