No, because modern make people unhealthy and disease-prone. All people are thinking about country what is going to happen. They are all are thinking about themselves. They  take fast food and they have to suffer from diseases.
Modern technologically make people weak. They don't do any work and only sit in the home. Day-by-day they become lazy

No. Modern living means adopting the western culture like drinking , smoking , etc. Our society is moving in such a fast pace that we have forgotten to look at the big picture..!! Wat i mean is we are not bothered about the negative impact of the lifestyle which we lead, we need to live for tomorrow.. Not today !!! What are we working for if we cannot provide our families a better healthy future ?? Ask a few q's before u do something : Is this safe for the environment ??? Is this safe for my family ?? Is there a safer way to do this ??? All these q's can be answered by referring a book or two ..!! Yes, this will take time.. But are'nt u n ur family worth it ???  I see it the same way like we sit in the house and play video games and eat junk food where we can go out side and enjoy the fresh breeze and the natural feeling outside...!! In the same way .. We can keep the windows open for fresh breeze to come in instead of the a/c being on !!! This is killing not only us but the earth !! I strongly think that the way we eat and live are the causes for us being disease prone ! I would like to ask to a q : Do we all have enough time to go for a walk and enjoy the fresh breeze outside ??? No , certainly not . This is mainly because of the tecn'l which has made the people very busy , so busy that they work overnight also like they work in a bpo or a call center..!! The living style also plays a havoc to our health !! Thus the modern life style is making us very prone to all these diseases but with well equipped awareness we can avoid all these diseases and illness .

No, i don't think that modern living has made people of INDIA weak, unhealthy and disease prone.
If we were in that same old age then many of us would be unemployed but today more than 50% of indian population is employed.we have got better living conditions now.  We've seen a lot of advances in medicine. So, it is definite that modern living has not made the people of india weak and disease prone. Medical improvements have also taken place. The standard of living for a great majority of Indians has improved markedly as globalization continues to bring jobs into India. Also, keep in mind that because of modern technology people can remain better informed ,because of these technical improvements , today we have cure even for cancer. Isn't it good that a life can be saved because of these improvements.people say that we have become disease prone but i say that we have become disease free.so , in this remedial age we have remedy for each and everything.other nations are looking forward to INDIA today and call it a a superpower.if still many think that it's because of modern living that we are becoming so called "WEAK, UNHEALTHY AND DISEASE PRONE" then i would say that society's attitude is more at the root cause. We as a society want everything now.

          • Modern living has made the people of India weak, unhealthy and disease prone. Today's life is full of stress, tension, pressures and worries. These begin right from the stage a child is admitted to school. The atmosphere of competition, hurried life, uncertainty of future prospects, doubts about success, possibilities of failure, etc, cause stress on human mind. I submit that with one's growth these maladies also grow.

I strongly feel that what we eat and how we live are major factors for making us weak and diseases prone. Adulteration, impurities of food articles, irregularity in taking food, wrong habits and eating fly exposed foods prepared in markets really make us weak and disease prone. I strongly believe that fast life with full of air, water and sound pollution is a quick road to disease. Smoke, sound and contaminated water tend to make us catch the diseases. May I ask: Do we have enough time to go for a walk in nature to breathe in clean and fresh air? No, certainly not. The results can be seen in hospitals.

The next point is that the living style also plays havoc to our health. I disagree that we become safe from mosquitoes etc. By using coils, repellents, aerosols etc. Their ingredients are certainly poisons. Exposure to them causes dizziness, nervous disorders, skin reaction and lung disease. I should like to draw the attention that our habits to sleep inside the home with coolers or fans or ac at full blow are virtual traps to make us prone to catching diseases. We breathe in stale air and make ourselves susceptible to various diseases.

We always seek a shortcut for everything. This love of ease is itself is a symptom of our getting diseases prone. Medicines are fraught with side effects. I, therefore strongly support that our present lifestyle tend to make us easy victims to these diseases
