A plan has been formulated by the Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Board to boost exports. This plan involves the establishment of Floriculture Common Facility Farms (FCFF) in each of the four provinces of Pakistan that would help Pakistan in two ways: on an export front, it would boost Pakistan's exports in the form of the production of export quality flowers while in the economic context it would contribute towards generating employment for farmers.

The plan is intended to be incorporated on a large scale and would be responsible for the first ever inception on a national level to produce flowers for export purposes. As the points of the official document illustrate, the first Floriculture Common Facility Farm would have a size of 30 hectares that is equivalent to 70 acres. Regarding the matter of investment, a sum ranging around Rs.80 million is estimated to fund the entire project of the FCFF.
