    Scott Adams was a famous American cartoonist who was the author and artist of the popular cartoon called Dilbert. Dilbert was a cartoon about a nerdy office worker and it gave a funny view to what life in the office was like. Dilbert became very popular because many people who worked in an office could identify with the popular cartoon. Scott Adams was born on June 8, 1957.  He was born in New York and earned a college degree in Economics. Cartooning was his hobby.  

    He recently got married to Shelly Miles in June of 2006. Scott Adams has also been recognized a lot for his work with Dilbert and office humor. He has received a lot of recognition for his work, including the National Cartoonist Society Reuben Award and Newspaper Comic Strip Award for 1997 for his work on Dilbert. Therefore, he is best known for  writing his funny views about white-collar workers in his cartoons.
