Christmas Savings $Money$-I Have $3.00 And Some Cents In My Bank,I Want To Combine Whatever I Have Saved With The $200.00 My Dad Gives Me Every Holiday Season, How Do I Avoid Spending It?
I have washed out an empty orange juice container and I have a lot of pennies in it and dimes and nickels and 4 quarters, I was out with my mom and family yesterday and I kept finding pennies on the ground so I picked them up and I put them in my pocket, anyway whatever I have saved in my bank, that is what I will combine with the money that my dad gives me and my brother every holiday season so I can have more money to but more gifts.

The only kind of account i know of that you can open and continue to add money to is a saving account. I think you have a very good idea going on. And if you can train yourself to leave the money in your account alone and continue to add to it over time you can upgrade your account to get better interest rates or even take out some of the money and put it into a CD. There are many options available to people whom want to save money, i would just check out a couple of different banks, get info on their different savings accounts and choose from there which one suits you best.
