How Do You Kill Slugs?

Poisonous slug pellets are a tried and tested solution. However, these are toxic to other creatures, not least your children. Plus slug eating wildlife such as hedgehogs and birds can be adversely affected by eating poisoned slugs. Some gardeners go on slug hunts at night, collecting up the plant chomping horrors and stamping on them, sprinkling salt on them or attempting death by drowning. This might be considered to be excessively cruel and is avoided by some who think hurling the slugs onto nearby land will keep them away. One common mistake is to assume all slugs eat plants. Many stick to decaying plant matter so are actually no threat at all to your precious salad seedlings. Commercially produced parasitic nematodes can be bought and sprinkled around. They kill the host (the slug) quite quickly but it is expensive and probably impractical to treat a big garden. Most serious gardeners accept some slug damage as inevitable.

Use salt it burns them to death...but why would u want to kill slugs but yea use salt its a better way to kill them its easy it fast
