How Do You Make Beehives?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

I believe you are asking about the hair style which is known as beehive. Therefore I am answering this question based on that assumption. It is an up to style and is named so because it resembles a beehive. It is also known as B-52. This hairstyle originated in USA and was very popular during the 1960s not only in USA but also in other western countries. Till today the beehive is a symbol of the 1960s brashness.

This hairstyle went out of fashion and became unfashionable in the late 1960s and thus lost its prominence among hairstyles. But this hairstyle proved to be an inspiration for several other hairstyles that originated and developed in the coming years. This hairstyle was very popular in many films and other productions during the 1960s. It was also featured in the very famous film Hairspray by John Waters.
