    You have not specified your question about nodular disease. Nodular disease is usually referred to parasitic infection in herbivores and primates. It is usually caused by Oesophagostomum species. In human, nodular disease can be in lungs which is usually caused by non TB bacteria called Mycobacterium avium intracellulare (MAI) or Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC). These bacteria are not contagious. It causes 2 types of lung diseases like nodular disease of the lung and cavities in the lungs. Nodular disease of lungs is difficult to treat and can take 15-18 months for complete healing.
