How Many Colours Did The Gibson WRC Come In?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

A namesake model was created by Wayne Charvel under the banner of Gibson called as the Gibson WRC Signature Model. It was a limited edition, with only six hundred models being produced in three colours, black, red and brown. However, this series wasn't really recognised and had a short life. Later, Charvel was bought over by Fender and Charvel was rechristened as San Dimas and sold as top quality American manufactured professional guitars.

Charvel currently provides many models that are made in the United States and priced at boutique rates, also including a Van Halen signature piece, a small run of which was actually stencilled by Eddie Van Halen himself.

Later in the nineties Wayne Charvel started producing hand made guitars from his shop named Wayne Guitars.
