 If my landlord is evicting me does that mean he should still be entitled to rent?
My landlord is selling the property i'm renting and is evicting me to do so.

 First of all the disclaimer... to seek legal advice you should retain a lawyer licensed in your state.

In my opinion, the lease agreement generally provides for entitlements in the event of default. If you are being evicted due to your default in making timely rental payments, then generally leases provide that you are responsible for rent until the landlord is able to mitigate his losses. In most cases, this is when he rents the property to another lessee.
