    The album Flat-Pack Philosophy is the latest album of the Buzzcocks and their eighth studio album overall. Flat-Pack Philosophy was released in early 2006; the producer of the album is Tony Barber.

    The Buzzcocks first came together in Manchester in 1976 at the beginning of the punk rock era inspired by the Sex Pistols. The Buzzcocks after achieving notable success disbanded in 1981; the group again came together in 1989 and since hen has been active sporadically.

    The current line up of the Buzzcocks includes Pete Shelley, the lead vocalist, guitarist and chief song writer, Steve Diggle as the guitarist and vocalist, Tony Barber as the bassist and Danny Farrant as the drummer.
