Billings, in the state of Montana, is billed as "a magic city". The city has many cultural and historical attractions as well being near the Yellowstone Valley.
1 – Moss Mansion
Once home to one of Billings most prestigious residents, Preston B Moss, this mansion is well worth a day trip.
2 – Lake Elmo State Park
There are many activities on offer at the lake. Covering 64 acres you can enjoy board sailing, swimming, fishing and many more water sports.
3 – Pictograph Cave State Park
Over four and a half thousand years ago prehistoric people once painted strange marking in these intriguing sandstone caves. The park has plenty of facilities and includes picnic areas with all the mod cons.
4 – Western Heritage Center
Learn about Native American tribes and settlers. The center has many exciting exhibits to teach you the history the Yellowstone Valley and it's inhabitants.
5 – Pryor Mountains
If you're an outdoor type these mountains will take your breath away. There are canyons to explore, fantastic views and wonderful meadows. The mountains are suitable for camping as well as hiking and hunting.
