    I've Been With My Boyfriend For 2 Years And The Whole Time We Have Had Unprotected Sex, But I Have Never Gotten Pregnant...should I Be Worried?

    My b/f and I have been together for 2 years and we have not been using protection and I've never gotten pregnant...I do smoke cigarettes and he does to and I know that lowers the sperm count by 30% but there LOTS of people who have kids that smoke...I need help please I'm kind of scared i want children??

    I might just be that it isn't your time yet. If you are trying to get pregnant consult an infertility specialist. It would also help to quit smoking and get your body healthy first.

    Hi tayluvsu,

    Yes, I would worry. I'd worry about myself and why I was being so dumb by putting myself in a position to get pregnant or to contract a serious disease!!

    Start using protection NOW if you haven't already, and worry about kids later when you're a bit older.

    Just enjoy your life while you're young!

      First I assume you have had a female exam that shows your equipment is all in working order. If so you need your BF to get a sperm count. Ask your doctor where he can get this done. If his count is adequate you need to see a fertility specialist doctor. If his count is low he needs to see his doctor or a fertility specialist.
      Secondly are you sure you ovulate? Most women ovulate 14 days before their next period so you must keep a record of you periods so you can anticipate your fertile days. That is the day to try to get pregnant. The day before and the day of ovulation your BF should abstain from alcohol and drugs for they slow down the sperm. There is much more but you get the first of where to start

      Yes you should be worried but not about why you haven't gotten pregnant. You should be worried about STD's and other hazards of unprotected sex!
