What Is Your Favourite Book And Why?

My favourite book is Mitch Albom's new book, "For One More Day.'
This book is about a man who is about to commit suicide, and goes back to his home town to visit. When he gets there he goes to the home where he grew up and finds his deceased mother there.

They spend one more day together. In that time he learns things he never took time to hear about when she was living.

The book is a beautiful reminder to all of us that we should take time today to tell the people we love that we do when we sill have the time. None of us are assured a tomorrow, so make the most of today.

My favourite book is definitely the Bible, especially the Gospels because I love reading about the Lord and also the book of Jonah because I enjoyed reading about how Jonah was swallowed by a whale.My second favourite books are a tale of two cities, harry potter, and children of the new forest.

"His Dark materials" by Philip Pullman. Addictive and fun reading. By far better than Lord of the rings/Harry potter in my own opinion.

I love Edgar Allen Poe.

My favourite is Tell Tale Heart, still to this day my heart skips a beat everytime I read it.

Actually I like all of Poe's stories they are all great.

My favourite book is Shaespeare's Autography. I like this because he was an experienced Englishman. Whatever he was writing, was so fantastic and I liked it all.

Hi my favorite book is the poem and the writing of the well-known people as they are inspire and stimulate me of their speech and thought. I think they are wonderful of their ideas that we could not do as them.

Defiantly The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant series. They are beyond explanation.

That would have to be "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley!
And it was required reading in college, too!

The visions of this fiction duplicate to days world so closely! That it raises a lot of questions, to say the least!

And it was written in the late 20's or early 30's too!
