I agree with you.
I would say it's probably more a cultural rather than medical reason, though the word is getting out to more and more people that circumcision is a very unnecessary procedure in modern times. Back in the bronze age with limited bathing and clean water circumcision was a good idea but it's practicality has long since passed.

Not Being circumcised ...pays dividends down the road..so, if you want your son to have nice complements from females..in bed...don't do it...In the U.S maybe latino's do it because they do it here in this country..but is not a procedure practiced regularly in our home country...

In latino culture circumcision is not a thing to do, most latinos are catholic, which do not recommend or encourage circumcision. Its is a american thing or jewish thing to do. Even the latinos born in the united states are left uncircumcised. There is nothing wrong with being natural and intact, i prefer it that way anyways.

I have to disagree. Talking about religion, Catholic practice circumsizing the men, why? It was mentioned in the bible. Some country do prefer to have their babies circumsized. It is a practice of cleancliness.

However, actually, according to a study I read based on data from the U.S. National Health & Social Life Survey of 1993, 54% of the U.S. Born Latino men WERE circumcised. In my own limited experience, it's pretty widespread in at least the U.S., for Latina/o parents to have their son's "cut". I think it's important not to over generalize...

You really can't put everyone in one statement, Im latino and born in America and I was circumcised. Everyone is different and thinks different in the latin countries they most likely not circumcise but its different in America

Because circumcision is a religious thing ..it comes from Jewish and Islamic ways and it has been pushed on people here in the US..Most Latinos don't follow the Jewish or Islamic faith so therefore do not circumcise ..even in other parts of the world like europe circumcision is not practiced..it has been shown to be an unnecessary risk to the baby.
