Am I The Butt Of An Awful Money Scam?
I met a man on yahoo messenger about 8 months ago and he is supposedly from Maryland but just recently went to the UK because his father passed away and left him 6 million dollars. He wants me to act as his next of kin so that he can have the money wired to the united states. He says he is british but his accent is not british, he gave me the number to a lawyer in the uk that had info on the money, and i called and spoke with him and he has the same choppy accent

I would definitely say this is a scam. If it is his father why would he need you to claim next of kin. You could get in serious legal trouble by signing any documents. I would take any document they have given you and bring them to a lawyer or the police.
