Except for the one time I got bumped into first class, where the stewardesses were nice and polite and everything I wanted came in a timely manner, I found myself missing the stinky guy who had a collection of business cards with him, he just simply had to share ALL the details about where and how he accumulated them all. Then on to the heavy person who could only breath with a drone that squished me next to the window, then my mind wondered over to the mother who couldn't keep her baby from crying because she was trying real hard to shh her others kids who didn't know how not to kick the back of my seat. Of course I can't forget about the steward who got sick and passed out in the aisle, boy that was the most quiet flight back from Florida I ever had (quickest too) I didn't know you could fly from Miami to Detroit in 1 hour.... Hmmmm
OH did I forget to mention the teens who thought everything was "Like totally funny"???? How come I always get stuck next to the guy who wants to join the mile high club??? Geeez leave me alone will ya!! Soon I was brought back to reality as the nice stewardess brought me my red wine to enjoy. I'll never forget the one nice flight I had. OH yeah, and it was the bulk-head seat up front too. Lots of leg room.
    Happy flying. :)

Hi, I was on my way from DC to Norfolk, Va.  My daughter worked for Eastern Airlines at the time.  So, I had a parents pass.  In order for me to get to Norfolk, I had to go to Atlanta first and then change planes to arrive in Norfolk.   So, I left work and headed for the Airport.  In the meantime, my daughter was trying to reach me to tell me not to go.  While I was in Atlanta waiting for the plane to leave for Norfolk, I found out that Eastern Air Lines was going out of business that night.  The plane I was waiting to take off for VA, it was a strong possibility, and it will not leave.    Now, you can imagine my dismay.  Well, I am happy to report that the plane finally left.  Although, I was never so scared, because it was the last Eastern Air Lines plane to leave Atlanta, you could hear a pin drop on the plane.  All the Flight Attendances were crying and I was hoping the Pilot was not crying too.  All I can say is thank God I made it home!
