Interject and redirect. Cruise a different hall, park, mall, wherever you usually hang out- DON'T. Go someplace different and let her know while your there. Then have fun.

It takes someone more special to forget someone once special.
Introduce your friend to another guy who has no commitment and has qualities she prefers. Then, in a discreet way, tell your friend that the guy you like her to meet and be in a relationship eventually is far better than the one she used to like and that she won't regret taking the new guy to replace the old one. I think you should be honest with your friend, and tell her that this guy does not like her. Her heart may be broken but that's where you come in and be the good friend that she needs, take her out to have fun and help her forget about this boy. Let her know there are a lot of other guys out there that would love to meet her and maybe introduce her to one. I hope you the best and that things work out for your friend.
