    My Dad Is A Very Routine Person. My Mom Watches My 2 Daughters Twice A Week, So I Can Work Part Time. My Dad Made A Comment To My Mom Last Week, When He Comes And Sees His Grand-daughters, That The House Was Messy, It Was Just Messy With Toys Etc, I Said To My Dad, " This Means Mom Doesn't Just Watch Them, She Plays, Teaches Them And Has Lots Of Fun With Them. He Also Does, I Did Speak Out And Say Dad, This Will Be Cleaned Up, Was I Out Of Line?

    It seems to me you were not out of line, but perhaps since it is your mother and father's house, they should be the ones to speak about the issue together, and decide how your father might become more comfortable with the situation. So you might encourage your mom, if she is troubled by your father's comments, to speak with him directly about it, since it she is the one doing the babysitting of the children, and his primary complaint seems to be with her, not with you or the children.
