    We Made An Offer Of Purchase On A House And Afterwards I Learned That Somebody Died Of Asphyxiation There 3 Months Ago. I Cancelled Because I Won't Be Able To Live There And He Never Told Us. Do I Have To Pay For Both Lawyers Because I Cancelled?

    If the person selling the house never told you somebody died in the house u can sue them.. Its the law that they have to tell you if somebody died there before.

      If you live in the UK I don't think you have any rights to be informed of events in the house prior to purchase unless anything is hidden that affects the structure of the property and this is covered by a survey and searches.
      You are liable for your solicitors fees here in UK, regardless of what has happened. In the UK you can back out of the sale but you need to check at what stage you are liable to any penalties for doing so before any final contracts are signed. Your lawyer or solicitor will be able to advise you.
