Get right to the main pet store in your area, buy the milk they have, and the bottle for it. Make sure the kitten KNOWS who you are,(your touch and your smells) feed it gently, and give it a LOT OF AFFECTION. If the mother is going to give up on it, you can't, if you want it to live. It will need attention several times a day, and throughout the night too. Don't give up on it please! This might turn out to be the best cat you ever had. Hope this helps. Good luck.
