There are several types of food available for your pug. I would stick with a hard food as it is supposed to be better for cleaning tarter and plaque from their teeth. I feed my dogs Eukanuba which is made of high quality ingredients and is made with less "filler" which helps um, poo, remain smaller. Make sure that whatever food you do choose is a small breed formulary which is going to target things your dog requires and the food pieces will be smaller!

And be careful because if you feed your dog fruit it could get very sick and possibly get diarea or it may also vomit
