Cats like to lay on their back. They sometimes do it to get your attention. They also do it while they are playing and are in a good mood.

Cats like to lay on their back for several reasons. When they are in the sun they like to warm up their bellies. They also do it when they are playing and when they want your attention.

Cats can be inviting you (or another cat) to play by lying on their backs.  Sometimes they like to roll around and rub their backs.  Some cats even sleep on their backs, sometimes with their legs in the air.  I don't think that's too common, but it sure looks cute and funny!

Lying on their backs shows their vulnerable underparts, I have read that they only do this when they feel happy, safe and secure, so it sounds like you are taking really good care of them and they trust you totally!
