What Is The Procedure To Create A Remote Client In SAP

The remote method is not preferred in the event of doing a large client copy. For a remote client copy, there is a requirement of an RFC (Remote Function Call) connection. RFC is a SAP developed method to call a function module present within R/3 from an external system. An RFC connection is initiated by using T code SM59.
Login in to the client with SAP user and then type in command field SCC9. In that screen, you have to choose what kind of profile you want to copy from the source client and source destination. The source destination in created in SM59. After choosing source destination, source client and system name appears automatically in specified fields. Put in the background and watch for job status in SM37.
