Do I Have To Pay For The House To Be Carpeted Or My Landlord?
Recently moved into a rented house and there's no carpet throughout the house. Does the landlord have to pay for the carpet and fitting or me?
Answers
Well dear!
It is not the responsibility of the owner to decorate your home. Carpeting is an extra facility and if you want it you need to get it on your own. In the case of the owner has already carpeted the home then in the case of damaging you have to pay it. And if for this carpeting your owner incurs cost of cleaning then the tenant have to pay for it. So, you have to get it done on your own.

If the carpet is needed for your house to be habitable, then you can force the landlord to pay. Proving that will require an active imagination.
