How To Make Sugar Cookies?

I used to teach a cooking class here is a simple recipy
2 cups of all purpose flour
2teaspoons of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 large eggs
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups of vegetable oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla flavour, if you don't have, don't worry
1 teaspoon of grated lemon rind, or a bit of juice, not necessary, but adds flavour
1sift flour baking powde and salt in a medium bowl and mix well
2 whisk eggs in a large bowl until blended.  Add sugar, oil, vanilla, and lemon stir the dry ingredients into egg mixture until blended
preheat oven to 400 degrees F
drop the cookie dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet
press down with bottom of glass sprinkle a little sugar over top each cookie
bake for 2 minutes
