Does Ant Infestation Ground For Breaking A Lease In FL?

I have an ant infestation and would like to know if it grounds to break my rental lease which does not end until May 2008?

    It looks like this question was asked awhile ago, but for other members who may have a similar question, pest infestation can be grounds for breaking a lease in almost any state in the USA, if the problem is a health issue (which ants could be) and if the landlord is aware or should have been aware of the issue, and/or has been notified by tenant, has had the opportunity to correct and has not or not attempted to, and the problem persists and is severe enough that it does present a hazard to your well being.  If in doubt, contact your HUD office in the USA at this link, where you will find your landlord/tenant rights for your state, as well as contact phone numbers in case you cannot find your answer there.  Good luck.
