Where Is The Largest School In The World Located?

The largest school in terms of number of students is the City Montessori School (CTM) located in the city of Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, India. Currently there are more than 25,000 students enrolled in its various branches spread throughout the city. The school is privately owned and was founded by Jagdish Gandhi and his wife Bharti in 1959 and since then has grown tremendously with over 20 branches at present located in the city; the school is named in the 2000 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest school in the world.

The school curriculum along with academic subjects lays great emphasis on developing moral spirit in the students; the moral principles taught in the school are mostly based on the teachings of the Baha'i faith which stresses on the unity of all men irrespective of their external distinctions.

The Rizal High School in Caniogan, Pasig City, Philippines is another school which could be named as the largest in the world.
