How Can I Keep My Bottom Pie Crust From Getting Soggy? It's A Lemon Meringue Pie.

Answer Question

Before you bake the shell...take a fork and poke the BOTTOM of the pastry with the fork. At least
six times around the bottom of the crust, then bake it...  This should help.  Turning up the heat may just burn the edges of the pie crust.

Well, no one wants a soggy bottom.

You need to set the temperature a little higher.  You are likely setting the oven at 325.  Pie needs at least a 375 degree oven.
