How Is The Community NHS Package Used?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Community nursing is arranged, provided and funded only by the National Health Services in the United Kingdom. The National Health Services is abbreviated as NHS. The NHS introduced a package called the Continuing NHS Health Care package, in which the treatment is free.

The Continuing NHS Health Care package does not necessarily have to be provided to the patients in hospitals, but in case of many patients who were in a critical condition, these services have been provided in privately-owned nursing homes and also in the homes of the patients.

Of course, the main advantage of providing the Continuing NHS Health Care package to the patients in a hospital or a nursing home is that the NHS offers to bear all the expenses which are incurred by the families of the patients on their treatment.
