After the First World War, the Allied powers imposed a harsh peace on Germany, designed both to exact retribution and limit its future war-making potential. Germany was required to make heavy reparations payments. Limits were imposed on the amount and type of military equipment it was allowed to use. It was also hoped that the League of Nations, a precursor to the United Nations, would help resolve diplomatic crises before they erupted into wars.

The need to make reparations payments created economic problems for many European countries throughout the 1920s and these did contribute to the emergence of the Great Depression.

World wars have given a great blow to all countries.  no one was disarmed from the grumbling effects of after war. Reparation and  vengeful notions do not allow nations to stray away but keep them strangle to the spying preparations. United Nations have done much to save the nations from repartee attitude and according to me the organisation is successful in halting the further war. Whatever the circumstances have been produced but prevention of another war is noteworthy in the case of organisation.
