How Does The Pop-up Blocker Work On The Google Toolbar?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The pop-up blocker is basically used for blocking any pop-ups that may appear when you visit a website.

The pop-up blocker will inform you of how many pop-ups have been blocked on your computer. If you click the pop-up blocker, then pop-ups will be allowed.

The pop-up blocker is a good tool, but you may need to allow pop-ups on some websites. For example, if you needed to fill out a form on the internet and it was in the form of a pop-up, then you would need to temporarily allow pop-ups for that particular site in order to be able to fill out the form.

You can block pop-ups again on any sites which you have temporarily allowed them by clicking on the pop-up blocker button.

You can find out more info about the pop-up blocker by clicking on 'Settings' on your toolbar, 'Options', then the 'More' tab, and then 'More Info' underneath the pop-up button.
