Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

C is a programming language that is used for general-purpose procedural form. In 1972, this language was developed by Denis Ritchie of Bell Telephone Laboratories for the purpose and use in the Unix Operating system. The progress of UNIX system in accordance with C language has made it exclusively convenient and improvable. The use of C language is very prevalent in creating different applications and writing of several different software source-codes. The essential feature comprising C language includes the simple and straight-forward use of compiler with a low-level access to memory. But the C programming language lacks the feature of automatic garbage collection as well as there is no native support available for multithreading and networking. C language, unlike Java, lacks the feature of in-built standard libraries of graphics. However, the use of C language is widespread, but it has been criticised for various reasons such as a more effective and experienced programming skill, effort and care than any other programming language of this class.
