I've Just Asked A Question; The Answer Felt Like Being 16 And Having A Crush For More Than A Year. It Is Funny,impossible As If I Can't Have Real Feelings Or Fall In Love. What Do You Think? Why Do Adults Assume Teens Can't Possibly Love?

I think the answer to this is that there is such an age gap between adults and teens. Most adults remember back to how they felt when they was a teenager and the relationships they had in comparison to the ones they have now. As an adult you have the knowledge to look back and realise that the relationships weren't as strong as we thought they were in comparison to what they are like now. However, that is only for the majority of people. There are some teens who fall in love, get married and stay with their partners for life. It is just a little more rare and that is why a lot of people are skeptic or not as understanding as you would like them to be.

Adults have a knack for thinking they are right all of the time and they aren't. However they do have a lot of experience in life usually and that is why their answers are sometimes worth listening to. Only you personally know how you feel. When you ask a question you are not always going to get the answers you want but it is worth keeping all answers in mind :) Hope this helps!

I agree with AimeeLou1984. Having 3 teenage boys 17 and older, I try to understand and support their decisions when they are "in love". Adults tend to feel their experiences are enough to tell you what to do and feel and what not to feel. I remember not listening to my parents but I did what I felt was right and I learned from my own mistakes. The world has changed over the years and people who do not last usually were not friends first. Just remember it is best to be friends before you are in love; it really makes life and living together so much nicer and easier to stick with relationships. I hope this helps! :o)
