How Do You Get Chlamydia?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

If you haven't heard of Chlamydia then you are in good company. A substantial proportion of the UK population hasn't either. Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted infection and not an STD. It is caused by tiny bacterium called Chlamydia Trachomatis. Many people who are at the risk o this infection don't really know what it is or understand the fact that they have an infection even.

In women it causes cystitis; change in vaginal discharge and mid lower abdominal pain. In men, Chlamydia is the most common cause of discharge from the penis. Sometimes it causes irritation on the tip of the penis. If you don't get yourself diagnosed of this you can risk yourself of having swollen testicles or ovaries. You could go to a hospital and ask for a Chlamydia test to get you checked.
