I am trying to get in to the air and ocean shipping industry as a freight- broker representing both carriers and shippers as opposed to a FREIGHT_FORWARDER , which I believe is a different thing altogrther.

To become an air and ocean freight broker you need to get license from local government so that you can authorize only to carry the business of freight forwarding agencies and you must have links international with other forwarding agencies or must have branches in different place. The second thing is you need is an office for the representation of customer.
