Metastasis of ovarian cancer to the liver means stage IV of ovarian cancer which is quite advance stage. 5%-14% women having stage IV ovarian cancer have 5 years survival. Treatment of stage IV ovarian cancer is by tumor debulking surgery to remove as much cancerous tissue as possible and chemotherapy. Radiotherapy is not recommended when liver is involved due to possible damage cause by high radiations.
