Basically, we live in Troposphere. We fly in the Stratosphere. Ozone is found in upper Stratosphere. Mesosphere is when it starts to thin, but is still thick enough to burn up extremely fast flying objects (meteors). The thermosphere is even thinner than the mesosphere and it plays with electromagnetic fields from Earth and the Sun. The particles are super heated to about 2000 degrees, but are so far between that it just feel like -200.
