    Prince Edward is basically a Canadian province with and Island of the same name. It is also a portion of the Maritimes and is one of the Atlantic Provinces. Area wise it is the smallest province in the entire Country. The total population of this place is 138,519 and the people from this region are referred as Islanders.

    It is based in a rectangle, it is the 104th biggest Island in the world and 23rd largest in Canada. The Island was named after Prince Edward Augustus, who was the Duke of Kent and the father of Queen Victoria.

    The Island is also known as "Garden of the Gulf" because it is placed on the Gulf of Saint Lawrence approximately north of Nova Scotia and east of New Bruswick, with whom is goes on to form the Northumberland.
