My 12 Yr Old Dog Is Coughing Has Hard Stool Diaria Drinks Lots Of Water And Hi Picky Eater He Also Has A Tumour On His Side It Moves Around So It's Not Attached ? What Could Be Wrong With Him ?
I'm new to this and not sure I've got it right also like to add my dog also was throwing up this last year the vet gave him meds and he stopped also he has a tumor on his side it's lose it's not attached. I'm terminally ill and broke and can't take him to a vet he is also a service dog for me he wakes me when I'm not breathing right and will jump on me if right before i have congestive heart failure wish I could find some one to help me with him..

Your dog is suffering from kennel Cough so you can give him some medicines that can help him to get rid of coughing. The tumor could be Dermoid Sinus that cause due to some skin infection on the body area so you should take your dog to vet for a complete medical checkup.

Perhaps there are some charities, organizations, or churches in your area that will help you with the vet bill. Maybe you could even explain your situation to a local vet, I'll bet you can at least make some payment arrangements. Your service dog sounds very unhealthy. What would happen to you if the dog dies?

Pleasant,you are right he's not very healthy ! He has some other problems too and I have had in into the vet many times for an eye problem but these are new problems that happen in the few weeks , the cough seems to be clearing up I think it had to do with some thing from where we staying, now that we are in our new place he seems better . Your right I don't have a dime to take him in and have started checking around here in palm springs and haven't found any help for him yet, I pray some one will help me with him as far as what I would do with out him , I would die from loneliness !

suzans, I wasn't thinking on the terms of you simply being lonely. I was thinking along the lines of him being a service dog for you, and potentially saving your life. Also thinking along the lines of animal neglect, which is in turn animal cruelty. Contact your local humane society. You can find them online I am sure, or in the yellow pages. Your companion needs medical attention, he can not get it for himself, and he can not tell you how much he may be suffering. This suffering of his may also affect his service dog abilities. Please do contact your local humane society, don't make the poor pup suffer. He can't help himself, it is up to you.

Thank you for helping me I will check the skin infection , It did pop up after I had shaved him a few weeks ago and I will check out the kennel cough advice but he seems to be gettng better ,we stayed at my mom for a short time while we were waiting to get into our apartment and his cough was bad there but everyday since we moved in here he seems better I'm trying to find a clinic or some help but I'm new in palm springs and dont have any resorces or funds..
