Honey bees are used to for bee sting therapy which is also called apitherapy. All species of honey bees have same venom compositions. There are 18 active ingredients in the honey bee sting which are reported to have medicinal value. There is no scientific data available which suggest their efficacy but there is data available which tell lot of side effects like allergic reactions to the stings. So, I advise you to use only those medicines which have proven track record.
