You can use slang, just not bad words. Just submit your answer and moderators will vet it before it goes online.

Orrrr.... Its because the site's origion is British, where they prefer "Queen's English"...lol. Just kidding!!! I prefer the proper spelling, and usage of words instead of slang. I dont mind it in casual conversation, but if someone wants their question to be taken seriously, then they at least should attempt to sound intelligent.
True about the Queen's English, but slang words, not cuss words, are sometimes appropriate in context. In my experience, moderators do a pretty good job at sorting this out.
