Fix My Psp Byself For Free?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Yep. Depending on what's wrong with your PSP, you MAY be able to repair it yourself, and if it's a minor enough problem, you may not have to buy any replacement parts, and thus it will be free to fix.

However, remember that it is a fairly delicate and complicated electronic device, and once you open it, there are many ways you can damage the components inside, and once you do that, you may HAVE to replace the parts that you damaged, and that WILL cost money. So any time you open your PSP, always use great caution, take careful note of where each screw came from (there are several sizes and types of screws in the PSP that cannot be used in each other's places, or damage may result), and be very careful with each step. Treat all the parts of the PSP's insides like you are handling delicate blown-glass sculptures. Soft cloth to set them on, gentle handling, no prying, poking, twisting, or other forceful manner to remove or relocate them, and you will probably be just fine.

Good luck, and have a great day.
