"A Farewell to the Arms", a movie written by Hemingway, is a war movie. It described that a young girl took part in the army and acted to be a nurse. In the army, she met a young officer, and they fell in love with each other. Because of the war, they can not stay with each other, and were compelled to be separated.
It is a movie described the brutality of the war. Because of the war, the lovers can not stay with each other and also the war made death and worth losing. Hemingway quoted a vivid love story to hint the war's disadvantage. When watching the movie, we should consider the death and disadvantage while affected by the love between the main actor and actress.
