How Many Hours Can A Person On Salary Work?

Answer Question

Being on "salary" pay status ask you virtually immune to overtime eligibility-- so a company can practically require any amount of hours to do the job.  In US., FLSA should regulate which jobs can be determined salaried or hourly as far as pay.  Most hourly paid positions  require a great deal of administrative, hands on, tasks.  Check FLSA law if you think your job is mis-classified as salary when it should be hourly paid.
