That's a terrible thing for someone to say. I'm sure you're not ugly at all and don't let a shitty person like that affect you. It sounds to me like this other girl is jealous of you and probably wants your best friend to stop hanging out with you because she wants more time with her. If a friend of mine said that about my best friend, I would tell her where to go in a hurry! Just remember if your best friend is really your friend, she won't let someone else decide if she should be your friend or not.

There really isn't anything for you to do. Your friend is handling things just fine. It appears to me as if your friend has a good head on her shoulders because she's not paying any attention to what the other girl is telling her. It sounds like she's a real friend. The day will come when you and your peers will know that it's okay to have more than one friend.
