I have a double light commercial fluorescent light in my kitchen and two of the lampholders are broken and need replacing.

They are held in by the cover or simply slid past a bent piece of metal that then "locks" it in place.(oh and seldom by a small Phillips head screw) Thees can be removed, and they sell replacement lamp holders at the hardware store. Remove one at a time and wire nut the new ones in its place.
