I Cant Select 1st Or 2nd Gear What's Wrong With My Vw Golf Gti 1.8 Turbo?
My car wont physically select 2nd gear but goes into 1st when i release the clutch there's nothing????

Sorry to hear about that. VW is known for having transmission issues. I almost bought a Jetta 1.8T until I read Consumer Reports and found about about their reliability record. You're probably going to have the transmission rebuilt.
