The MRSA is the resistant strain of Staphylococcus bacteria. It is difficult to treat. It causes infections on skin and on internal organs when inhaled. There are no stages are define except its early stage of attack when infection start. Even at this stage it is contagious. This bacterium is acquired from hospital and also from community. Very simple answer to your question no developmental stages of MRSA and it is contagious right from start.

I wouldn't know why a hospital setting is telling you MRSA is not contagious. Every bacterial form is contagious. If your friend has MRSA I suggest you to go check yourself for MRSA too. You know I think they just don't want to scare you.

I just went to the doctor yesterday because for the last month I have had sores in my nose so bad lately that it is hard to breathe out of it.. My doctor swabbed my nose and is checking for MRSA. I am terrified because I don't know anything about this? My doctor also told me that it is very contagious and I should not be around alot of people, If I need to be around alot of people then she said to make sure that I was my hand alot..

MRSA is highly problematic to human health and once an infection occurs it become really difficult to treat. The whole MRSA infection can be broken down into stages. The first stage is the initial point of infection which resembles a red mark from a spider bite. This is very difficult to spot and can easily be confused with other things, MRSA is contagious and spreads through the skin and bodily fluids.
